Man going 101 MPH in Ohio has 7 DUI convictions!

From the Toledo Blade:

“Bond was set at $15,000 yesterday in Bryan Municipal Court for a Minneapolis man arrested for felony drunken driving after state troopers allegedly clocked him driving 101 mph on the Ohio Turnpike in Williams County about 10:30 a.m. Sunday.  Frederick D. Brown, 50, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, open container, driving with a suspended license, and speed.

Troopers said that in the last 20 years, Mr. Brown has had seven convictions for drunken driving in Minnesota and New York, which made his most recent arrest a fourth-degree felony.  It was his 12th arrest for drunken driving in his lifetime, troopers said.”

12 arrests!  7 convictions!  You’ve got to love our court systems where a guy can get convicted driving drunk six times, and still be driving around.  I mean, I wonder what his sentence was when he was caught on the 6th time?  Hopefully, a judge in the Bryan Municipal Court will use some common sense and make this idiot a guest of the State of Ohio for a very long time.

    Amen.

Disclaimer: I have a distant and not too happy an association with this fellow.

If you were to see his MN BCA sheet you’d [allegedly...roll eyes] find he has a wanton disregard for the law, abusing alcohol and engaging in violence. Think about what else he may have done that he hasn’t been caught and convicted for. His actual time served has been quite reduced from his pronounced sentences.

Yes, one has to wonder, what must this guy do before some judges and prosecutors decide to lock him up for some serious time. Ohio, please keep him a while…and then when he gets out, give his probation/parole officers in MN and NY a ring.
