Trump Still Has Not Nominated an FMCSA Administrator

If you are going to drain the swamp, at some point you actually have to hire people to, you know, drain the swamp. That swamp’s not going to drain itself. In 2009, President Obama nominated Anne Ferro to lead the FMCSA in early June. She was confirmed in October, 2009.

At this rate, it could be 2018 before there’s an actual member of the Trump Administration leading the FMCSA. But, the President is busy lobbing juvenile insults at TV talk show hosts. So much for regulatory reform. So much for draining the swamp.
